GitHub Copilot
GitHub Copilot is GitHub's AI coding assistant, launched in 2021 as an autocomplete tool and now offering chat, an agent mode in the editor and a cloud agent that works on issues and pull requests. Because it ships inside GitHub and Microsoft's developer tools, it is the coding assistant many developers meet first.
